The moon represents security and visibility in the dark. And the relentlessly circular shape of each moon phase shows that no matter which phase it is in (new, half, or full), the moon is still whole, still complete, and solid. 
 
Historically, pockets are a symbol of one's access to economic trade, privacy, craftsmanship, and style; they are a place to hide stolen and secret items, to transport currencies and love notes. The pocket has been handmade, secondhand, it has been borrowed and gifted. Throughout history, the pocket has been placed under petticoats, sewn into pants, placed on a rope around the shoulder, and sometimes nested within, as a secret heartbeat inside of an even larger pocket.

Sizing:
This pocket will be custom-made to your waist measurement to ensure the best possible fit. Please check our sizing guidelines for recommendations on how to take your waist measurement. 
 
Left or Right:
You choose which side of the body you'd like the pocket on. Pocket side "Left" means it sits on your left hip, and "Right" on your right hip. 
 
Care instructions: 
Hand wash and hang dry. However, if you prefer to machine wash/dry out of convenience, please put the pocket inside of a mesh garment bag to protect the embroidery from catching and tearing on anything. The fabric has been preshrunk so there should be minimal shrinkage on your first wash. You will likely need to iron it after washing for it to lay flat again. Don't forget to remove your belongings before washing 🙂
