These scraps are remnants from fabric I hand-dyed using pigments from plants for my clothing line. All are mindfully colored in my home studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 
 
Each bundle will vary slightly (in shape and color), but will all include at least 12 pieces of naturally dyed fabric the size of your hand or larger (somewhere around 4x6" or 5x7" at the very least, but some much larger!) Roughly 90% of the pieces will be 100% linen, and the rest will either be 100% cotton or a cotton-linen blend. All are high quality and medium weight. 
 
In this mixed pack, you will receive each of the following colors: 
Grey (TEA & IRON)
Brown (TEA)
Blue (INDIGO)
Yellow (ONION)
Light salmon pink (CUTCH)
Dark salmon pink (CUTCH + IRON)
 
Naturally dyed fabric care: The art and science of natural dyeing takes time and attention, but it yields incredibly rewarding colors. Because these fabric scraps were originally dyed for use as clothing, they have been adequately mordanted for longer-lasting color. However, natural dyes naturally fade over several decades which is part of their charm and allure. To reduce fading, avoid high heat and long durations in direct sunlight. All of the fabric has been pre-washed and shrunk as a part of the dyeing process. 
 
They have been washed and rinsed several times to remove excess dye, however, if you plan to use the scraps for a washable craft (clothing, blankets, etc) I recommend you handwash this fabric with a mild detergent (or dawn dish soap) before using to ensure no additional bleeding of colors later in your project. Always wash with cold water.
